Selective Color : While I do post-process all of my photos, I limit the treatment each image receives to basic "grooming" applications. Because my main objective is to document what I see, I stay clear of heavy manipulation, with the exception of the technique featured in this gallery. The photos seen here were all color photos converted to black and white in Nikon's Capture NX software program; using the minus brush, I then selectively lifted the black and white mask to uncover the original color, in order to emphasize the most important part of the photo. Full color and/or black and white versions can be found in my other galleries for most of these images, or are available upon request.
