The Toomsboro General Store and gas station. Built before the Civil War, this was originally a whiskey store.
The store was shut down and locked up for years and thus still has a lot of antique merchandise, such as a pair of early 1900 shoes, on the shelves, which are actually old ammunition boxes. Wilkinson County is working on a project called "Wilkinson Weekends" and when it takes off, this store will be open for tours the first weekend of each month. Probably worth the trip!
